Beta Version 2.0: Changelog


Hello hello! Quantum here. Beta Version 2.0 of DeckMaster is now out. This version fixes a few bugs, and brings DeckMaster slightly closer to a final first release, which I'm hoping to have out sooner rather than later.

Here's this version's changelog:


General Changes

+Added turn skipping. If you have a currently-unfinished turn, then the "end turn" button becomes a "skip turn" button, which skips your turn.

+Added a new stat, armor, which decreases damage input.

*The player and the opponent's stats are placed differently now, both being put to the side, on top of an element.

*There's now an attack indicator in the form of the stats holder element turning white when it's your turn.

*There are now walls on the edge of the board so if you have an aspect ratio larger than 16:9 you're not looking into the abyss on the edge.


New Cards

+Base card: "Fortify", which adds ____ armor, with quality 6. Armor decreases damage input, and degrades as it absorbs more damage.

+Spirit card: (currently unnamed) with quality 11 which allows another turn immediately after the turn in which it was played in.

+Spirit card: (currently unnamed) with quality 16 which makes damaging effects of the turn piercing, meaning it ignores armor.

+Spirit card: (currently unnamed) with quality 16 which gives an additional ____ cards after this turn.

+Spirit card: (currently unnamed) with quality 8 which makes damaging effects of the turn heal you for that damage.

+Base card: Healing Aura with quality 17 which creates a healing aura, which heals you every turn automatically, wearing off as it does.


Bug Fixes

*Fixed a bug where the blue aura over the play area would be slightly visible when the game starts, before a game is played.
